What is academic advising?
Get personalized support navigating the FlexGE program and one-on-one guidance as you explore majors and career paths that align with your goals. FlexGE academic advisors can also assist you in planning a successful transfer to BYU or another university. We recommend that every student meet with a FlexGE academic advisor at least three times a year, especially before registering for classes. To make the most of your advising appointment, we invite you to complete the Student Success Plan in advance. You can schedule an in-person or virtual meeting with your assigned advisor below (current students) or meet with the first available advisor.
Find the right advisor for you
Student are assigned an advisor based on last name, but you are welcome to meet with any advisor. Those not yet admitted to FlexGE should use the First Available Advisor link above.
